Marissa Winters, MA, RDN, is an Integrative Nutritionist. Marissa’s approach to nutrition focuses on using whole foods as the foundation of health promoting meals. She partners with her patients and clients to support them in reaching their health goals and to empower them to make informed food choices that nourish them on all levels: body, mind and spirit. Marissa graduated from Rutgers University with a degree in Economics and was a commercial banker for seven years. A class in nutrition, taken for personal interest, sparked a passion which led to a career change. She completed her dietetic internship at The University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey (now part of Rutgers University School of Health Related Professions). She became increasingly interested in the mind-body connection, which resulted in earning an MA in Holistic Health Studies from Georgian Court University. She is also a Reiki Master and has a longstanding meditation practice.
